§ 01 — Lead attorney

Attorney
Joanna
Szymańska‑Skrobak

An experienced attorney entered on the roll of the District Bar Council in Poznań. Her leading practice areas are family, inheritance, civil, criminal and business law.

She runs a law office with locations in Poznań (Plac Wolności 18) and Pniewy (Gen. Hallera 8), serving clients across the Wielkopolska region. She combines legal rigour with direct, partner-like contact — every case is treated individually, without a corporate template.

§ 01 — Law office

Practice of an
individual measure.

I provide comprehensive legal services to individuals and businesses. I don't believe in ready-made templates — every case is a separate mechanism in which the strategy must be tailored to the client's specific situation, risk and goal.

I represent clients with the utmost care. Before I recommend any step, I analyse the case from several perspectives — procedural, financial and personal. My aim is to identify the optimal solution that accounts for every aspect of your individual situation.

Pillar 01
i.

Full commitment to every case

I never take on more cases than I can handle with full attention. The client's comfort is the certainty that their matter won't disappear into a queue.

Pillar 02
ii.

Strategy, not a template

Every engagement is analysed from the ground up — with risks, costs and scenarios in mind. The client receives a clear action plan, not a list of statutes.

Pillar 03
iii.

Discretion and empathy

Family, inheritance and criminal cases call for more than knowledge — they call for sensitivity. I speak with clients in language you can think in, not just sign.

Credo

"The best representation begins with the right question. The rest is work — orderly, patient, consistent."

§ 04 — FAQ

Frequently
asked.

Answers to the most common questions — concrete and free of legal jargon.

How much does a consultation with an attorney in Poznań cost?

The consultation fee is agreed individually after an initial review of the matter. The first contact by phone or e-mail, during which you present the problem and we define the scope of help, is free of charge. The fee for substantive work is always quoted before the case begins.

How long does a divorce case in Poznań take?

A divorce without a ruling on fault, where the spouses agree, usually ends after a single hearing — 3 to 6 months from filing the petition. Cases involving a ruling on fault, parental authority or child support typically take 6 to 18 months. After the first meeting I can give a realistic time horizon for your specific case.

Do I have to come to the office, or can we meet online?

Meetings are held both in person — at the office on Plac Wolności 18 in Poznań or at the branch in Pniewy — and remotely, by video call or telephone. The format depends entirely on your convenience and the nature of the case.

What should I bring to the first meeting with an attorney?

All documents concerning the case — contracts, correspondence with the other side, court letters, decisions, a notarial deed or a civil-status certificate if relevant. If you're not sure what is needed, send a short description by e-mail and I'll indicate the documents to bring before the meeting.

How is the fee for handling a case agreed?

I use three billing models — a flat fee for handling the whole case, an hourly rate, or a mixed model combining a fixed part with a success fee. The choice depends on the nature of the engagement, its expected duration and your preferences.

Is my case covered by attorney-client privilege?

Yes. Everything that passes between client and attorney — from the first phone call, through the exchange of documents, to the content of the advice — is covered by the statutory attorney's professional secrecy. The privilege is unlimited in time and continues to apply after our cooperation ends.

§ 05 — Contact
